Trip to Kairo - October 2002
Afaq and me made a 9 days trip Cairo for ISS training just
before Ramadan in 2002.
We stayed in Hotel Safir (Embassador). This is my room.

We took a horse ride to the Pyramids and the Sphinks.

These guys really tried to screw us. The horse ride was supposed
to cost us 80 egyptian pounds. All of a sudden they added the entrance
fee to the area (police bribe I believe) and then the fee was
80 pounds each and then some tips. Afaq did not want start to fight
with because he had several hundreds of dollars in his pocket.
I gave them 130 and we jumped in a taxi.
The Sphinks was much smaller what I had thought it would be.
